SUNDERLAND, May 11 (SW) - Arsenal ended their 2007-08 English Premiership campaign with a close victory at Sunderland.

Youngster Theo Walcott took the honour of scoring the only goal, after a through-ball from Gilberto in the 26th minute.

At the end of the season, the Gunners have 83 points; four less than Manchester United and Chelsea but seven more than Liverpool.
