ROME (AFP) - Catania announced former Inter Milan and Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga as their new coach on Tuesday.

A statement on the club's website said Zenga would be officially unveiled to the press at midday.

Silvio Baldini left the Sicilians on Monday after a string of bad results that has seen Catania win only one of their last 11 matches.

They are now only separated from the relegation zone by goal difference and have not won away from home all season.
