Lithuanian international defender Rolandas Džiaukštas has rejoined FK Žalgiris Vilnius after nine years in Russia.

The 29-year-old centre-back leaves FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast as a free agent after three seasons having not played at all in the 2007 Russian Premier-Liga campaign due to a serious pelvic injury which required an operation. "I'm thankful to my native Žalgiris for helping me recover from surgery," said Džiaukštas, who spent three and a half years with the Lithuanian club between 1995 and 1999.
