PORTSMOUTH, England (AFP) - Harry Redknapp has warned four of Portsmouth's young players they could face the sack for drinking heavily during the club's FA Cup victory parade.

Redknapp is furious that the unnamed quartet were drunk on the Portsmouth bus that toured the city with the FA Cup and carried on drinking at a dinner to celebrate the Wembley win over Cardiff.

He is considering whether to axe them because he believes their attitude is a stark contrast to the more professional approach of Portsmouth's foreign players.

"These four lads didn't play in the final, but they couldn't even put their beer down on the bus," he told the Mail on Sunday.

"We got back for the reception and the four of them just stood there until they were invited to go home.

"They're players at my club but they might not be for much longer.

"You get these 16-year-olds who think they have cracked it and aren't prepared to work and improve and put the hours in. You don't get that with the foreign lads."
