AMSTERDAM, Oct 25 (SW) - Fresh off of their trouncing of Feyenoord on Sunday, Ajax maintained their lead at the top of the Eredivisie with a 2-0 triumph over Den Haag on Wednesday.
Henk ten Cate's men took the lead after 29 minutes when ex-Barcelona man Gabri punched the back of the net, and they doubled the lead two minutes later through midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
Ajax would have had more goals, but the Den Haag defense and in particular goalkeeper Stefan Postma was in fine form to deny the home side from a further blowout.
