ROTTERDAM/BLACKBURN, Dec 13 (SW) - Feyenoord secured a place in the next round of the UEFA Cup following a 3-1 win over Wisla Krakow, while Blackburn Rovers finish in first place in Group E.

Feyenoord needed a win and Wisla a draw to advance to the next round. The Dutch hosts took the lead through Nicky Hofs in the 16th minute but the score was levelled by Pawel Brozek seven minutes later.

However, Jonathan de Guzman restored Feyenoord's lead in the 41st minute and Greek striker Angelos Charisteas set the score to 3-1 in the 67th.

The Poles did not have the ability to come back and instead lost Dariusz Dudka due to a red card in the 78th minute.

Blackburn Rovers - Nancy 1-0
Blackburn Rovers clinched the top spot in this group thanks to a 1-0 win over Nancy, but did have to wait until the dying minutes for Lucas Neill to score the only goal of the match.
