FRANKFURT, Apr 16 (SW) – Turbine Potsdam have taken the lead impressively by winning the game in and against FFC Frankfurt with a smasking 2-6. Three goals of German star Conny Pohlers lets FFC Frankfurt even fear for their second place in the table, with FCR Duisburg on their heels.

The game was finally over for real when Conny pohlers passed to Anja Mittag, who smashed in the 1-3 from fifteen metres.

The second half a small offensive start from the Champions of last year, but again it was Turbine to get the real chances, Britta Carlson hit the post, with Omilades challenge in the rebound stopped by the not to good goalkeeper Marleen Wissink (FFC Frankfurt). After this the goal train started running again, first Conny Pohlers just overrun Wissink, 1-4. Then Petra Wimbersky scored from close range: 1-5. In the 63th minute goals scoring Conny Pohlers got her widely applauded substitution, Isabell Kerschowski came in. In the last fifteen minutes Birgit Prinz scored 2-6 for the statistics, a shot from 14 metres.
