STOCKHOLM, Jul 18 (SW) – Swedish legend Henrik Larsson has brought the curtain down on his international career following the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

'I'm quitting now. It feels right. I've done my time for the national side,' confirmed the 34-year-old.

Larsson reached God-like status at Celtic as he banged in the goals with continuous ease in the SPL and played a major role in helping Barcelona reclaim European glory in winning last season’s UEFA Champions League Final.

After many years abroad, Larsson has returned to his home town club of Helsingborg for one final stint as a player.
